CEO + Producer
Kenny is a suburban boy from Trumbull, CT. He is the oldest of two: little sister, Kelly (Kenny and Kelly – what were they thinking?). Kenny stumbled into the theater scene his freshman year of high school. A friend mentioned that the production she was in at the JCC needed more boys in the ensemble…and Kenny wasn’t doing anything after school, so he said “YES,” Off to Anatevka he went, immersed in the Jewish culture and traditions of Fiddler on the Roof. He was hooked.
After cramming as many shows as possible into his high school years, he went on to attend Syracuse University to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre. He truly loved his time upstate in the tundra and embraced the full college experience (Go Orange!). He was fortunate enough to play roles such as Valentine in Two Gentleman of Verona, Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret, and produce and perform in the lovable 90’s musical Little By Little under the direction of one of his dearest mentors, Rodney Scott Hudson.
Kenny’s professional career began at The MUNY in St. Louis, MO where he became a member of Actors’ Equity. He racked up six shows working there over the course of two summer seasons. He was privileged to perform alongside seasoned professionals such as Leslie Kritzer, Tony Yazbeck, Andrea Burns, Lewis Stadlen, Ken Page and countless others. He formed lasting relationships with many, but specifically Artistic Director and mentor, Paul Blake.
Once moving to New York City, Paul Blake invited him to perform in an early incarnation of the current Broadway hit, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical…and Carole came!
Kenny expanded his creative breadth when Broadway production and merchandising company, The Araca Group, selected him to be a part of the Araca Project. This program is an initiative to foster the young entrepreneurial spirit. In preparation for this opportunity, he pursued training through the Commercial Theatre Institute (CTI): an entity that provides an education in commercial producing. Kenny went on to make his producorial debut with the off-Broadway production of Sheri Sanders: In Concert.
Kenny resides in West Harlem when not out of town for gigs and always has a number of projects in the works - scroll down to check out his NEWS page for current updates!
